Erin Condren life planner. I originally saw it over at Kwernerdesign on her video (there are a few) that she did about hers. I love the idea of it being cute yet functional because most of the time planners just are not very pretty. I did a lot of research and watched a ton of video reviews to see if it was something that I would actually use before I spent the $50+ to get it.
I've used it for a little while now and so far I am loving it. It has just enough character to make me want to use it but I can also change some things if I want to. See how Kristina changed up hers here. I've done something similar. I have a $10 off promo code. Who doesn't like saving money? Just open the link, create an account and have fun shopping! I used mine to basically get free upgraded shipping.
WARNING: This is going to be a long, picture heavy post. So grab something yummy to drink and sit back and enjoy.
I love the packaging it came in. Reminds of how Papertrey Ink packages their goodies.
See I'm enjoying a cup of coffee while taking pictures. I was very excited to finally receive it!
Note: yes shipping can be very long. Patience is a virtue.
Erin Condren sent some free stickers (more on those later). Disclaimer: I have no idea if every single customer gets free stuff and/or all the same stuff.
I also bought some of the Keep it Together bands and Coil Clips. I wouldn't really bother with the bands especially if you have some of the K&company SMASH rubber bands. I discovered that only a new SMASH band will work as my books are a little filled and the bands that I leave on them have stretched quite a bit.
TAAAADAAAA!! Here it is in all it's glory! I chose one of the older covers (which I didn't know it was older and not the new ones I just liked it the most) I did not do any color changes and kept my name traditional. But the cool thing is that if I get tired of this cover I can change it out. Pretty awesome I'd say!!! (sorry for the blurry pic, there was a lot of glare)
Here is a closer look at the extras I got. The coil clips work pretty well! I made a "dashboard" for my planner to hold the post it notes I'm using inside. I will get a picture and a how to up for that soon.
Free stuff. I love how the top stickers match the cover of my planner. Super fun! I did not buy any of these. Very cool of a company to send some little extras!
This is what happens when you don't pay attention to a pretty kitty, she lays on everything!! Hahaha. Love her <3 p="">3>
Alright, that wasn't so bad was it!?
Wait I have more!!
Can't forget about the accessories to organize your planner!
First is pens. See I couldn't just have a black pen (though if that suites you just fine then fantastic!!). I wanted a colored pen set with a good variety that wouldn't bleed through. Yep, more research.
These Staedtler pens are what I decided on. I found them at my local Michaels and yes I did use a coupon! Which made them like $12 or so, after tax.
The case on these pens are just amazing, it also serves as a stand!
Plus the name stickers that were shown above fit perfectly where the label used to be. I even modge podged it to make it last a little longer =)
So while I patiently (lol) waited for my planner to arrive I did some shopping for tools I may need. I wasn't sure exactly how I was going to set it up but I had a general idea of what I wanted and what would be easiest for me to keep up with. The binder clips and highlighters are from the Dollar Tree. I wont be using the binder clips though, it just adds too much bulk for my preference. The highlighters work fantastic! The post-it notes are the small full adhesive ones, highly recommend, and are from Walmart, so are the paperclip flags and calculator. The over sized paperclips I found at Michaels.
Alright that is it for me! Don't forget to use the $10 off promo code. Just open the link, create an account and have fun shopping! Help me help you!
