I love Fall, the cooler weather and all the leaves changing colors but it gets harder and harder to utilize natural daylight for pictures. Today was a little dreary so the light is warmer with the artificial light that I was using.
I took a standard card panel of Nennah Solar white card stock and die cut it using a Papertrey Ink die for the scalloped oval. This paticular die is made to use for shaker cards, so it cuts out the center oval and a scalloped edge frame.
Prismacolored Premier pencils were used to color in the Dachshund, broom, witch hat and pumpkin, of course. I just can't stop using them. I used a black gelly roll pen to outline certain parts of the images and a Spectrum Noir clear sparkly pen to add a little glimmer. I also coated certain areas with some glossy accents, it just adds enough detail.
The background is watercolored with Koi watercolors, even though Neenah is not a watercolor paper it handled the water pretty well. Just can't paint many layers or try to move the watercolors around much with your brush or the paper will start to peel up. After all that I used some white acrylic paint and splattered some dots onto the sky and then added more glitter to the sky with a Gelly roll stardust pen.
Below is a supply list I have compiled. All links below are affiliate links and are used to help support this blog and my hobby. I only link to products that I love and use. Thank you so much for visiting and all comments are appreciated!
Papertrey Ink is not a affiliated link but I list to their product page.
Oval scalloped die unfortunately this die only comes in a Make it Market set. But I believe it can easily be duplicated with other brand dies.
