My second stamp from the Brutus Monroe stamp club came in the mail a week or or so ago. Finally got a chance to stamp it out and color it in. When I first saw it I immediately thought of the Fiskar's stamp set that is in my collection. The 2 larger hot air balloons are from the Fiskars set and the smaller balloon with the "Love is in the air" sentiment is from Brutus Monroe.
I'm also entering this card into the CAS-ual Fridays challenge; All That Glitters. Find out more here and check out their products!

Now I, so far, do not have any stamps by the CAS-ual Friday brand but I am awaiting for the "Cup of Coffee" stamp and dies to come back in stock. I like the images and all the sentiment options that come in that set plus there are more that I'm adding to my list.
I stamped all 3 images on Canson XLwatercolor paper and used masks to layer the stamps slightly with the Brutus Monroe stamp being in front. I used my Fantasia watercolor pencils to color in the balloons and to also do the clouds in the background.
The balloons were covered in Stickles to give that glitter shine effect and all the lines were traced in a Gelly roll pen to add contrast. I also added a few round and heart sequins then stamped the little hearts that also came in the Brutus Monroe stamp set with Distress oxide ink (it's similar to a pigment ink and sits on top of the paper, so it stamps more solid over other colors.).
