Puns, I think, are so fun on cards and Lawn Fawn has some good ones in their stamp sets. If it makes the recipient chuckle a little then these cards have done it's job.
Now I know that Mother's Day is actually up first but when you have an idea sometimes it's best just to get it out rather then wait on it. I would probably forget the idea anyways as soon as I left the room.
