Jessica MayDay: Wizard Themed | Witt & Sass Stamps

Hello Everyone! I know your probably wondering "Where is the video Jessica?" 😁 It's been a moment since I have created a card without a video. Sometimes things don't go as planned but I'm so very happy with how this creation turned out and was very excited to give it to my sister.

For this I used the freebie that Amy the creator of Witt & Sass offers. There are some great additional images and sentiments! All other stamps came from the totally adorable Magical Creatures set.

I printed and colored in the cauldron with Copic markers. The sentiment, H (hanging on the wall) and the badger are all from the Magical Creatures stamp set. Everything else I drew in. Including the colorful sprinkled bubbles floating up from the cauldron. Which I'm using as my focal point for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge (it's just a controlled splattering lol). The bubbles are made using various copic colors gently pouncing the brush end tip to form the dots. A few are from a Signo white gel pen and some have a coating of Glossy Accents over the top to add texture and shine.

I colored the darker parts of the badger with cool and warm copics, which I really like mixing those two tones together. The frame was added around the H and glossy accents covered the middle. I used a versmark ink pad to add embossing ink all around the edges of the cameo die cut. I tried using the Versamark pen at first but that was slow going and the ink was drying quickly. Framing the entire image in gold embossing powder.

For the inside I stamped the lion and added a few flying keys around the sentiment that says "Happy Birthday to my favorite mugglel". Since I stamped directly on the card base I colored very lightly so that it wouldn't bleed through to the back, coloring just the scarf and the keys.
