Hello everyone. I read once that September is one of the most popular months to get married. While I'm not sure if that is true or not, it is however the month that I was married. My Husband and I will celebrate our 10 year anniversary at the end of this month. So with that in mind I did make this to represent our Fall wedding. I did make this as a card but I think I will use it to display during Fall in our house. ❤
Watch the video here.
To start I stamped the lines using the Sketched Striped Background stamp then I stamp the sentiment. For the "everyday" word I used the Perfectly Penned set. The "I" was die cut using Lawn Fawn's Finley dies. The rest was stamped using the Concord & 9th Thankful Leaves Turnabout stamp.
I stamped the die cut leaves on a separate piece of cardstock using some great fall colors inspired by The Color Throwdown challenge. Then I die cut those out and set aside. I'm using the Thankful Leaves Turnabout stamp but not in the turnabout way. Instead I'm using it to stamp a few of the larges leaves scattered on the right hand corner. That set also came with a great extra detail stamp which I used for the black splatter. I cut down the panel to 4in by 5.25in and then I layered the die cut leaves over the top of the larger leaves.
Before I inset the "I" die cut I pressed it into the Gina K. Blue Raspberry ink and then glued it to the card. Of course I had to use some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Black and Morning Dew and because I felt that the orange was getting a little lost with all the red and blue I adhered a few orange Doodlebug sequins scattered through out the leaves.
