Simon's October Card Kit 2018 | No Stamp Card Challenge

Hey everyone! I finally was able to get out the Simon Says Stamp card kit for this month! By the way Happy October! Where did September go? Don't we say that every month though? 😄

So in this video I show you how I made 3 cards using absolutely NO STAMPS. Now this was in response to Cornerstone Create's no stamp card challenge. Which I'm almost always happy to try to join in on a challenge! It just happened to be around the same time that Simon released the October kit with Gina K. Designs foil mates. Which got me really excited because I haven't had a chance to try foil on cards yet. I mean, that is one of the reasons why I have been hanging on to a laminator. I just kept pushing the purchase of them aside but now that I have tried them I think it is a fun technique!

 This one the simplest one I did. Using just a fun stitch die and Gold Sequins foil on the foil mate then matting a piece of Blue Velvet (Love this color!) behind it. Super easy and that foil is so pretty.

 Now this one has to be my favorite of the 3. I love the light green of the foil with all those fun colors of the plaid paper peeking through a die cut curved edge. I left the sentiment black and added some more shine with coordinating colored gems.

This one has a more modern style. I used different color foils for each leaf. Also a minimum of amount of colored pencils on each one to keep it clean The stripe paper adds a lot of interest against a swooped edge. Extra texture added with Nuvo Drops.
