Now I love the background I fondly named it "The Fly Who Bothered Me" but I think the stamp from Ink Road stamps really brings this one all together. lol
So the background is made using Ranger Alcohol Inks. I used Pitch Black, Pebble and Cool Peri, I really was just doodling and playing around. I also added some silver mixative in areas to make it shine.
I used the Concord and 9th pinking shear die (listed below) on the Alcohol Ink background. Yupo paper does cut pretty nicely with dies. For the center I used a stitched square die from Lawn Fawn's Scalloped Box Pop Up Card die. Then I used it again on black cardstock after stamping the (oh so funny) sentiment from Ink Road and embossing it with white embossing powder.
I adhered the panel to a Neenah Solar white card base and inset the embossed sentiment. Then I took a Gina K. Designs Red Velvet ink cube and swiped it over a piece of scrap neenah cardstock. That way I could use the Lawn Fawn Hedge Hugs heart die (my favorite little hear die) and I didn't have to use a whole piece of red cardstock, surprisingly I was out of red scraps!
I adhered those to the panel with liquid glue. I tried to keep all the hearts to tips of some of the alcohol ink splatter, just for fun. Then I added the last little heart below the sentiment.
This one just cracks me up!
